Using the Event Scheduler Screen

The Event Scheduler screen records any event an offender is scheduled to attend during a period of supervision, including reporting to an officer, court appearances, or program/service appointments.

After you have recorded an offender appointment on this screen, you can later record whether the appointment actually took place.

The Event Scheduler screen includes a Recurrent Schedule button that allows you to generate recurrent schedules for an activity, so you do not have to type in the activity more than once.

The Event Scheduler screen is linked to Case Notes, and the Resource Directory for programs and services.

  1. To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Case Management Event Scheduler

OR

Click the Offender Schedule button on the Case Notes or the Offender Assignments screens.

  1. Select Query/Find to locate the offender.

  2. Click Next Block to access the Schedule Event block.

    The Schedule Event block lists all records in ascending chronological order, including all offender course/activity schedules from the Programs & Services module, and future report-ins as recorded on the Intake screen. Confirmed report-ins at the time of intake (Report In block, Intake screen) are displayed as confirmed events (with the Confirm event/Yes button clicked).

    The Program/Service Course/Activity-Session fields are filled automatically by information from the Programs & Services module. You cannot enter data in these fields.

  1. To record an activity, click a blank line or click Insert.

  2. Complete the following fields:

To generate a recurrent schedule:

You are returned to the Event Scheduler screen with the recurrent schedule automatically listed in the Schedule Event block

You can modify or update the Date, Time, Location fields and the Confirm Event button.

You cannot delete a record once it has been confirmed (Yes or No).

To confirm whether an event took place:
