The Resource Directory inquiry screen searches for available program and services in your area. Programs, services, providers, and session information are defined by your system administrator. You select the kind of program you are looking for a particular offender, and TAG provides details of what is available, where and when. You can then choose what is best suited to the offender's needs, and what dates and times fit the offender's schedule.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Programs/Services Resource Directory.
The screen opens with the cursor in the Category field of the Search For Programs/Services block. You can make your search as general or as specific as you wish by filling in the fields in this block. However, you must make selections for at least the Category and Program/Service fields before querying.
In the Category field, select a category from the List of Values; mandatory.
In the Program/Service field, select a program/service from the List of Values; mandatory. What appears in the list depends on what category you chose in the previous step.
Click Query. If the list of responses is too long, fill in some or all of the following fields to narrow down your search.

Click Query. One or more rows in the Search Results block should fill with information on providers and sessions that fulfill all the search requirements. If nothing appears, try leaving some of the fields blank to make the search more general, and then query again.
The Search Results block displays all records retrieved in the search, including records of current on-going sessions (with no End Date), then completed sessions (with an End Date). Sessions are listed alphabetically by Provider, then alphabetically by City/Town, then in chronological order by From Date.
Click a row in the Search Results block to select it. A description of the service provided appears in the Description field at the bottom left of the screen. You can then get more information by clicking on the buttons to the right of the Description field.
