Clearing the Count

TAG continually tracks the number of offenders in custody (status: active-in and active-out) in a caseload, and the distribution of the offender population throughout living unit locations. TAG has a number of inquiry screens and reports that are designed especially to help your institution track the count of offenders. You can immediately find out the current count as tracked on the system at any time on both inquiry screens and on reports. These screens and reports identify the number of offenders in each institution and their distribution throughout all living units, sorted by status (active/inactive/in/out), living unit, and other sorting methods.

To see a breakdown of the current housing capacity and vacancy, and how many active offenders are inside and outside the institution see the Count Inquiry screen or the Count Sheet Report.

To see a breakdown of offenders by imprisonment status, see the Imprisonment Status Count screen.

To see a list of all offenders by housing location, see the Location Inquiry screen or the Offender Location Report.

To see a list of all external moves (in and out) for one offender, see the External Movements screen or External Movements Report.

To see a list of all offenders who are active but outside the institution, see the Active-out Offender screen or Active-out Offender Report.

To see the statistics of offenders with certain characteristics (profiles), see the Offender Profile Inquiry screen.
