This topic discusses three components of the Incident Reporting module.
Incident Logs are a means of recording incidents as they occur within a facility. They differ from offenses in custody in that they do not always require a formal hearing process. You can record the details and the persons involved in any incident. Reports can be generated to notify various support groups, and you can query on incidents by offender or by incident.
Shift Logs are a means of recording the observations made by officers within various areas of the institution during their shift. Officers can record various activities that were performed such as inmate welfare checks or bed checks. Senior staff can view the entire shift log for the institution as well as print a report of the entire shift log by housing unit.
