Shift Log Recording

This screen is used to record information based on staff observations of inmate activities during a shift. The shift is derived from the time.

1. To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institution Incidents Shift Log Shift Log Recording.

2. Date and Time: Default to current date and time. To change the date, enter another using a MM\DD\YYYY format. To change the time, enter another using an HH:MM format.

3. Place will allow access to a List of Values to choose the location of the incident.

4. Log number will be a system generated number which identifies that log entry.

5. Recorded by will default to the user ID.

6. Activity type will allow the user to access a List of Values.

7. Description is a free-format text with word wrap. It is an unlimited scrolling block.
