The Offender Military Records screen is one of many demographic screens used either when booking an offender into an institution, or when performing an intake on an offender for community work. The Offender Military Records screen records an offender military record including branch, rank, and type of discharge. An offender may have multiple enlistments.
For institutional work: select Institutions Case Management Military Record to access this screen from the Main Menu.
For community work: select Community Intake Military Record from the Main Menu.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender.
Click Next Block to access the History block.
In the History block, complete the following fields:
Enlistment Date: type in the month and the year of enlistment using a MM\YYYY format; The enlistment date must be before the current date.
Branch: select from a List of Values the military branch that the offender served in; mandatory.
Enlistment Location: type in the enlistment location; optional.
Unit Number: type in the unit number that the offender served in; optional.
Service Number: type in the offender's service number; optional.
War Zone: select from a List of Values the war zone that the offender served in; optional.
Disciplinary Action: select from a List of Values any military discipline that the offender received; optional.
Discharge Date: type in the month and the year of discharge; optional. The discharge date must be before the current date; standard date format.
Discharge Location: type in the discharge location; optional.
Rank at Discharge: select from a List of Values the offender's rank at discharge; optional.
Discharge Type: select from a List of Values the type of discharge; optional.
Comment: type in any other relevant data; optional.
Click Save.
If you need to record another enlistment, click the Enlistment Date field, then click Insert Record to insert a blank record. Repeat steps 4 and 5.
