You can close a legal case by recording a case event or an order that your TAG administrator has set up to close a legal case. Check with your TAG administrator to determine which case events and orders close a case, according to your business practices.
To close a legal case by recording a case event (that has been set up to close a case), use the Legal Cases screen. To close a legal case by recording an order (that has been set up to close a case), first use the Legal Cases screen, and from there go to the Orders screen.
An offender can have more than one legal case at any one time. Each of these cases can be closed on its own. Even after you close all of an offender's legal cases, the offender's TAG record stays open (that is, the contact is not closed).
