With the Schedule Transfer Within Jurisdiction screen, you can put offender transfers with an undetermined transfer date, and/or those transfers that require approval, on a waiting list until you have that information. You place a transfer on a waiting list in the Waiting List block, and assign it a "pending" status while you wait for information/approval.
When the transfer date is determined, and/or an offender transfer is approved, you record the information, and give the transfer a "confirmed" status in the Waiting List block. This makes the transfer "active," and schedules the transfer.
You can cancel scheduled transfers, or offender transfers on the waiting list, by giving the offender transfer a "canceled" status in the Waiting List block. When a transfer has a "canceled" status, TAG automatically makes the transfer "inactive" so the transfer is no longer scheduled.
Information recorded in the Waiting List block automatically displays on the Waiting List For Transfers Within Jurisdiction screen, and information recorded in the To (Location), Priority, and Status fields on that screen automatically display on this Schedule Transfer Within Jurisdiction screen. For example, if you cancel a transfer on the Waiting List For Transfers Within Jurisdiction screen, the cancel automatically displays in the Waiting List block of this Schedule Transfer Within Jurisdiction screen.
