With the Internal Movements screen, you can move one or more active-in offenders at a time from one internal location to another (gym, work program, internal medical appointment etc.).
With a retrieval function, the Internal Movements screen retrieves all offender records from a particular housing/internal location, so you can move multiple offenders at one time. When you need to move multiple offenders with each offender from a different housing/internal location, you must enter the offender records one at a time.
The Internal Movements screen consists of a top block, and a bottom block named the Offender block. The way that you fill out the top block determines: which offenders are retrieved and will automatically display in the Offender block (if any); where they are coming from; where they are going; and whether the move is confirmed. Once these records display in the Offender block, you can modify them.
TIP! For every situation, think of the fastest way to process multiple offender records. For example, you have twenty offenders in the gymnasium that need to be moved, and all of them are returning to their units except for two offenders. The fastest way to process the twenty offenders is to select (From) the Gymnasium, and (To) Return to Unit in the top block, check the Confirm All Move checkbox, and retrieve all of the gymnasium occupants from the TAG database. Once TAG has listed all twenty offenders in the Offender block, you can "uncheck" the Confirm (Move) box beside the two offenders if they are not moving, or select another location to move them to.
After you have recorded your internal moves and have saved the information, TAG may display a pop-up window alerting you that the internal location you are moving the offenders to exceeds the capacity specified by your TAG administrator. You have the option of moving the offenders elsewhere, or proceeding with the move.
Every time you record an offender internal movement on the Internal Movements screen, TAG updates the internal location on offender-specific Header blocks. In addition, TAG adjusts the number of offenders at an internal location on the Internal Location Count screen.
