Offender Internal Movements Introduction

With the TAG internal movements screens you can move one or more active-in offenders at a time, from one internal location to another i.e. library, classroom, internal medical appointment etc.

Internal movements is a different function than the assignment of a housing location, or the movement out of the institution, as internal moves do not free up beds or release offenders. No adjustments to the overall institutional count need to be made as offenders move back and forth internally.

Internal movement tracking lets you inquire on offenders in every internal location. You can:

On the TAG Header block, you can also see an offender's current internal location listed next to his/her housing location. Therefore, when you call up an offender-specific screen, you know immediately where in the institution a particular offender is at any given time. If there is no internal location listed next to the offender's housing location, this means the offender is in his/her cell.
