Any court order that authorizes the custody of an offender, prior to sentencing, must be recorded on TAG. While the names of these orders can vary, there are generally two types: appearance orders, which have a specific court appearance date, and detainer orders (which allow a long term hold while awaiting trial).
Both these types of holds are recorded on the Appearance/Detainer Order screen. This screen also records movement or appearance orders authorizing the movement of the offender to court on a specified date.
If bail has been set, the Bail screen records the amount(s) and type(s) set by the court.
