On the Receive Incoming Work Transfers screen, transferred work is assigned to an officer at the receiving office so the work is formally accepted. Once accepted, work is removed from the Track Transferred Work screen at the transferring location.
The Cancel Transfer checkbox on the Track Transferred Work screen removes that work item from this screen.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Workload Management Transfer Work Item Receive Incoming Work Transfers.
In the Incoming Location block, select from the List of Values any location to which you have update-access in your current caseload; mandatory. You can also query in the Location field and scroll to locate the location you want.
Click Query. The Incoming Work Transfers block automatically displays incoming work for the selected office, listed in this order:
Transfer Date (earliest to latest)
Offender Name (last/first) in alphabetical order
Order/Request Type/Code/Component.
Select the line item that you want to receive. By default, the first row is selected.
Click the Assign To Officer button. The Assign Work to Officer window opens. The Location field is automatically carried over from the Incoming Location field on the Receive Incoming Work Transfers screen.
Click Query. The Assign Work To Officer block lists all active officers at the receiving location.
Select the Assign checkbox at the left of the Name field to assign the incoming work to that officer.
Click Save.
Click Exit to return to the Receive Incoming Work Transfers screen.
The assigned work item remains on the Receive Incoming Work Transfers screen until another query is performed or until you quit the screen.
If a paper file relating to the transferred work is being transferred as well, you can receive it on the Receive Offender Files screen. Click on the Receive Paper File button to open that screen.
