As another option for searching for visitors in the TAG database, the System-Wide Person Search screen allows searches for any visitor, and displays records of all of the offenders associated with the visitior.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Visits Person Search.
The screen is already in query mode, ready for a search, when you bring it up from the Main Menu. You can search on any one or any combination of these fields:
VIN#: Visitor Identification Number - TAG's unique identifier for each visitor
Surname: last name
G1: first name
G2: middle name
DOB: date of birth
ID Type: List of Values available (driver's license, birth certificate...)
Number: the number on the piece of identification (ID Type)
To do a query, enter the information you want TAG to search for and click Find (Query). (If you're using the menu or keyboard instead of the toolbar, select Execute Query).
All persons records that match your search criteria display in the Persons Search block. If your search returns more than one record, each name is listed as one line.
If any person listed (visitor) currently has a visit restriction, the Rest field reads Y[es]. You can view detail on the restriction by clicking the List of Values in this field.
As you scroll through the list of names, TAG displays a list of all offenders associated with that person in the Offenders block.
