The End Program block is part of the Offender Progress and Results screen. Use the End Program block to record the end of an offender's participation in a program, whether the offender has completed the program, or failed to complete the program. If your system includes a questionnaire for measuring offender performance against program/service objectives, you can access it here.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institution Programs/Services Offender Progress/Results.
In the Offender's Program/Service Profile block, click on the program/service that you need to end.
Click Next Block until you reach the End Program block.
Fill in the fields:
Date: defaults to current date. To change the date, enter another using a MM\DD\YYYY format.
Status: select Completed or Not Completed from the List of Values; mandatory.
Comment: type in a comment if you wish; optional.
Click Save. You can save inactive offender records.
After saving:
The program Status field in the Profile block changes to the status you selected (Completed/Not Completed).
The offender's schedule record is terminated from the designated End Date. All future scheduled appearances for this program/service in the offender's schedule record are deleted.
The offender's name no longer appears on the Confirm Attendance screen for this course/activity ID/session.
You cannot edit the end date or status once you have saved.
If a questionnaire has been defined for this program, click on the Offender Evaluation button to open it. If there is no questionnaire, the hint text at the bottom left of the screen will say so when you click this button.
