TAG includes a Medical Examination screen to record an assessment of an offender's health condition. Medical assessments are normally part of the booking process, although you can record them on TAG at any time. The medical screen is located in the Institutions Medical menu.
There are two parts to TAG Medical Examination. In the first part you can record basic indicators like blood pressure, temperature, or the date of the offender’s last full physical or dental exam. The second part consists of questionnaires that you can define for any medical category, with yes/no answers for offender responses. Sites commonly build questionnaires to record visual observations, mental health assessments and diet restrictions.
The results of an offender health assessment can be printed on a TAG Medical Exam Report. This health information is often useful when determining appropriate housing or programs for offenders.
