In the TAG Medical Examination screen you can record basic indicators like blood pressure, temperature, or the date of the offender’s last full physical or dental exam. To use the Medical Examination screen:
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Medical Medical exam.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender’s record.
Click Next Block to access the Reason field of the Medical Screening block.
Complete the Medical Screening block.
Reason (type of exam): List of Values available.
Exam Date: defaults to current date. To change the date, enter another using a MM\DD\YYYYY format.
Exam Time: defaults to current time; overwrite if necessary (HH:MM).
Questionnaire: List of Values available. Select the appropriate form.
Temperature: at time of examination.
Temp. Measurement: Centigrade or Fahrenheit.
Blood Pressure: Systolic/D.
Pulse: at time of examination.
Respiration: at time of examination.
Last Medical Exam: provide the date if known; use standard date format.
Last Dental Exam: provide the date if known; use standard date format.
Reviewed by: enter the name of the physician.
Comment: add any additional commentary (free-form text).
Disposition: List of Values available.
Click Save.
Click Next Block to move to screen page 2.
The Questionnaire Categories block at the top lists all available questionnaires. To select a questionnaire, click on it. The corresponding set of questions appears in the Offender Responses block below.
Click Next Block to move from your highlighted Category in the Questionnaire Categories block to the first field in the Offender Responses block.
Complete the questionnaire. In the Ans[wers] column, answer Y[es] or N[o], and provide Remarks (up to 79 characters: not all will be visible).
Click Previous Block to move back to the Questionnaire Categories block.
Proceed through the remaining categories, repeating steps 7-10 for each.
Press Save before exiting.
