Step 5 in the Sentencing Process
TAG calculates the earliest possible release date for the offender on the Sentences Details screen. Here, TAG shows the offender’s active sentences, sorted by jurisdiction and then by type. Each line shows one sentence with term and start/end dates. Consecutive sentences are shown as one aggregate sentence, with one term and start/end date. Recognizance or non-parole periods are shown on another single line.
To calculate the earliest possible release date:
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Legal Orders Sentence Details.
OR
Select Institution Booking Sentence Details.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender record.
The Calc flag in the Sentences block should be selected. To calculate the earliest possible release date.
Click Save.
The sentence process is now complete.
