Step 3 in the Sentencing Process
The Offender Earned Credit screen records the types of offender earned credits and the credit levels. The earned credits are applied to the offender's sentence calculation and influence the length of the offender's sentence.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Legal Orders Offender Earned Credits.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender record.
Click Next Block.
Complete the Offender Earned Credit Types block.
Type: select the earned credit type from the List of Values.
Description: field automatically fills when the (earned credit) Type is selected from the List of Values.
Click Next Block.
Complete the Credit Levels block.
Type: select the credit level type from the List of Values.
Description: field automatically fills when the (credit level) Type is selected from the List of Values.
Click Save.
The Offender Earned Credit Types and Credit Levels information is integrated with the Commitment Order screen so will automatically fill in the corresponding fields on that screen.
