Step 2 in the Sentencing Process
An order becomes inactive when it passes its expiry date.
To clear an appearance/detainer order:
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Legal orders Appearance Order.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender record.
Click Next Block to access the Orders block.
To clear the order, set the Termination Date to today's date using a MM\DD\YYYY format.
Type in the Reason for the Termination; a List of Values is available. When an order has been terminated, the Reason field must be filled in.
Click Save.
To clear counts/charges:
Click Next Block to access the Charges block.
Clear any outstanding counts by typing in the number of counts to be cleared in the Clr field.
Click Save. If all of the counts on a charge are cleared, the Status field automatically changes from A (active) to C (cleared).
