Sometimes before you apply bail/bond, you need to change the actual bail amounts to an order, or to the charges that relate to an order.
An order can have many charges, and if an actual bail amount for an individual charge is changed in the Charges block, the actual bail amount automatically changes for that order.
Changing the actual bail amount for an order will not change the actual bail amount for any of the charges that relate to that order.
After all charges and order actual bail amount changes are made, the actual bail amount in the Orders block will be the actual bail amount charged.
To change the actual bail amount of an order, then apply bail to the order:
In the Orders block, select the order that you want to apply bail/bond to. (All of the charges associated with the selected order appear in the Charges block).
Enter (overwrite) the Actual Bail Amount of the selected order.
Click Next Block and complete the Apply Bail/Bond block to apply bail/bond to the selected order.
Click Save.
Repeat steps 1-4 to adjust actual bail amounts and to apply bail/bond to other orders. If more than one order uses the same Company or Person information for bail, use the Copy From/Copy To check boxes in the Orders block.
