Suspected or Confirmed Gang Members

You can record an offender's gang membership on the Gang Affiliation Verification screen:

1. To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Gangs Affiliation.

2. If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender.

3. Click Next Block to access the Gang Affiliations block, and fill in the Gang/Faction (List of Values available).

4. Click Next Block to access the Evidence block, and fill in any evidence:

• Code: List of Values available (tattoo, self-admitted...). To enter more than one item of evidence, click or arrow down to a blank line.

5. Click Next Block to access the Gang Investigation block.

6. In the Investigation block, complete the following fields:

• Membership Status: List of Values available (associate, suspected, confirmed)

• Comment: optional additional text entry.

• Investigator: List of Values available (select your officer userid).

7. Click Save. To record affiliation with more than one gang, click or arrow down to a blank record in the Gang Affiliations block, and repeat steps 3-8.
