Health Problems

The Health screen is one of many demographic screens used when booking an offender into an institution, or when performing an intake on an offender for community work. The Health screen records a general description of the offender's health, for use in assessments and placement into programs.

  1. For institutional work: select Institutions Case Management Health Problems to access this screen from the Main Menu.

    For community work: select Community Intake Health Problems from the Main Menu.

  1. If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender.

  2. Click Next Block to access the Health Record block

    The Health Record block automatically displays existing records. Current health problems (no Inactive Date) are shown first, by Onset Date (most recent first), followed by past problems (Inactive Date), most recent first.

  3. To add a new record, complete the following fields:

  1. Click Next Block to access the Treatment block.

    The Treatment block automatically displays details for the selected health problem. Current or ongoing treatment (no end date) is shown first, listed by Start Date (most recent first), followed by past treatment (records with To Date), also most recent first. You can modify, but not delete, information in the Treatment block.

  2. To record treatment for the problem selected in the Health Record block, complete the following fields:

  1. Click Save.

  2. Click Next Block to access the next screen in the booking or intake sequence.
