Employment History

The Employment screen is one of many demographic screens used either when booking an offender into an institution, or when performing an intake on an offender for community work. The Employment screen records the offender's employment history and details.

  1. For institutional work: select Institutions Booking Employment to access this screen from the Main Menu.

    For community work: select Community Intake Employment Details from the Main Menu.

  1. If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender. The screen automatically displays any employment information already recorded.

  2. Click Next Block to access the Employment Status block.

  3. Scroll through the existing entries to see the information in the   Employer and Additional Details blocks for each job.

  4. To add a new record, click Insert or scroll to a blank line with the down arrow key.

  5. In the Employer block, complete the following fields:

  2. Usual Trade/Occupation: select the offender's occupation from the List of Values. (optional).

  1. Click Next Block to access the Employer block, then complete the following fields:

  1. Click Next Block to access the Contact block.

  2. Select the kind of contact telephone number from the List of Values (optional).

  3. Type in the telephone number in the next field (optional). Include the area code.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Repeat steps 5 to 14 to add other employment records.

  6. Click Next Block to access the next screen in the booking or intake sequence.
