The zoom adjustment is the second (middle) dial on the lens. The top of the subject’s head should be just below the top of the screen image. The bottom of the chin should be just above the bottom of the screen image. Center the image from left to right.
Set the focus after composing the image. The focus dial is the furthest from the camera body.
After you’ve focused, use the aperture dial (closest to camera body) to slowly reduce shiny areas on the image.
