Discharging Orders and Requests

The Discharge Order/Request screen formally closes an order or request, for any user-specified reason.

  1. To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Orders/Requests Discharge Orders/Requests.

  2. If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender.

The Orders & Requests block is an amalgamated view of offender orders and requests, showing active items first, then inactive. Orders and requests are listed by Event Date (most recent first), then by Info # and Sequence #.

  1. Click Next Block to access the Discharge Order/Request block.

  2. To formally discharge the currently selected order or request, fill in these fields.

  1. Click Save. After saving, the order/request moves to the bottom line of the block, and the order/request status changes to Discharged.

You cannot discharge a community service order (CSO) with a Remaining Hours balance, unless it also has its Suspended Credit checkbox checked on the Community Service Requirements screen.

  1. Click Next Block to access the Related Offenses block. You cannot edit the fields in this block.

The Related Offenses block lists related offenses for the selected order or request in the order in which they were entered on the Legal Cases screen. Move the mouse over the furthest-right column to see the date/time/user ID of the last edit.

The [Related] Orders/Requests field indicates the number of orders/ requests entered against the currently selected offense (zero if none have been allocated). Click on List of Values to see the Orders/Requests Allocated Against This Offense window.
