TAG Modules

Because every agency has its own particular administrative requirements for managing offender records, TAG is broken down into independent modules that each covers a particular administrative requirement. Beyond kernel modules that must be purchased for TAG to work, TAG may be purchased according to the needs and budget of your facility. Each TAG module consists of a group of screens suited to performing a particular set of administrative tasks.

Syscon has two TAG products that are fully integrated, and each of these has its own kernel modules for operation. Institutional TAG, or iTAG, has a kernel module called Admission & Release which covers all basic administrative requirements related to admitting and releasing an offender; because this module creates the offender records used by all other institutional modules, it is therefore a pre-requisite for all other institutional modules. Community TAG, or cTAG, has a kernel module called Intake & Release which creates offender records and is a pre-requisite for all community modules.
