Recording Missing or Discarded Property Items

You use the Transact Property Items screen to record property items that have been discarded or lost by changing the item’s status.

  1. To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Institutions Property Transact Property.

  2. If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender’s record.

  3. Click Next Block to access the Transaction Information block.

  4. Complete these fields in the Transaction Information block:

  1. If only certain items are missing or disposed, click Next Block to access the Item Information block. The cursor is in the Conf[irm] checkbox. Select this checkbox for each item affected.

  2. Click Save. TAG creates a transaction record and changes the status of each affected item. The items are no longer listed.

If you are changing the status of items in a container with a seal attached, TAG automatically removes the seal.
