Offender assessment supervision levels can be determined by a sub-total score (section score), or by a total score (all of the sections added together), whichever is higher.
If you reach a score in a section that is high enough to determine an offender supervision level, a pop-up window displays e.g. "Security level for this section is now MEDIUM."
In addition to the pop-up window:
the Assessment Score and the Calculated Level fields in the New Assessment block (screen page 1), automatically fill in.
the Section Details button is enabled. When you click the Section Details button, a display-only window appears showing the date, section designation/description/score, and security level.
If the offender supervision level reached in a section score is minimum or medium, you should complete the rest of the questionnaire. It could be that the total score will yield a maximum supervision level.
If the offender supervision level reached in a section score is maximum, you may choose not to complete the questionnaire, because the highest offender supervision level is reached. However, if you complete the rest of the offender supervision level questionnaire you will have the additional information on record.
