The Offender Education screen is one of many demographic screens used when performing an intake on an offender for community work. Use the Offender Education screen to record an offender's education history.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Intake Education Details.
Query in the Header block to locate the offender.
Click Next Block to access the Education Record block.
The most important record in the Education Record block is the highest education level attained. Try however to complete as many of the following fields as possible.
Level Attained: select the highest level attained from the List of Values; mandatory.
Area of Study: select from the List of Values; optional.
Start Date: enter the month and year the offender started attending this school; optional.
End Date: enter the month and year the offender stopped attending this school; optional.
Years Completed: enter the number of school years the offender completed at this school; optional.
Year Graduated: enter the year the offender graduated; optional.
Comment Text: enter comments about the offender's educational details; optional
Press Tab to access the School block, then complete the following fields:
School: enter the name of the school attended; optional.
Address: type in the address of the school; optional. Use two lines if necessary.
City/Town: select from the List of Values; optional.
Province: select from the List of Values; optional.
Country: select from the List of Values; optional.
Postal Code: enter the postal code; optional.
Click Next Block to access the Contact block.
Enter the telephone and fax numbers for school personnel:
Type: select the type of number from the List of Values; optional.
Area Code/Prefix/Number/Extension: enter the phone or fax number; optional.
If the offender attended more than one school, click a blank line and repeat step 4 to 6.
Click Save.
