You can delete cases, orders, charges, sentences and requests to remove erroneous information. Use the Delete Orders screen for this purpose.
Deleted orders or requests are completely removed from the offender record.
You must delete associated sentences and requests first before deleting a charge. You must delete associated charges before an order can be deleted. This means that items in the Delete Orders/Requests block must be deleted before related items in the Delete Offenses block can be deleted; items in the Delete Offenses block must be deleted before related items in the Delete Events block can be deleted.
Once deleted, a line item cannot be re-activated, but must be re-entered properly on the Orders or Requests screens.
To access this screen from the Main Menu, select Community Orders/Requests Delete Orders/Requests.
If necessary, query in the Header block to locate the offender.
Click Next Block to access the Delete Events block.
The Delete Events block lists most recent events first, then by Info # and Sequence #.
Deleting an event is not allowed if:
the offender is inactive
associated offenses and/or orders/requests exist. You must delete these first.
Select the event row and click Remove. If related offenses still exist, an error message displays stating that the TAG can not delete the offense.
Click Next Block to access the Delete Offenses block.
The Delete Offenses block lists all recorded offenses for the selected event. The [Related] Orders/Requests field shows the number of orders/requests against the selected offense (zero if none are allocated). The List of Values accesses the Orders/Requests Allocated Against This Offense window.
Deleting an offense is not allowed if:
the offender is inactive
associated orders/requests exist. You must delete these first.
To delete an offense, select the offense row and click on Remove. If related orders or requests still exist, an error message displays stating that the TAG can not delete the offense.
Click Next Block to access the Delete Orders/Requests block.
The Delete Orders/Requests block is an amalgamated view of offender orders and requests, similar to that on the Orders/Requests Inquiry screen, listed by Line number.
Deleting an order or request is not allowed if:
the offender is inactive
the order has had a breach/amendment application (pending or disposed)
the order has hours credited against it
the request has an associated word-processing document
the order/request has been assigned to an officer.
Click the List of Values in the Related Offenses field to access the Offenses Related To This Order/Request window. It displays offenses associated with the order.
To delete an order or request, select the row and click on Remove.
If necessary, click Previous Block to return to the Delete Offenses block and delete the associated offense.
If necessary, click Previous Block to return to the Delete Events block and delete the associated event.
Click Save.
