Transfer Case Plan Ownership

The Transfer Case Plan Ownership Window is accessed from the Transfer Plan button. This window allows a transfer of the case plan to another location. In normal practice the receiving party will conduct this action, in effect transferring the case plan to themselves.

  1. To: List of Values available (displaying only those locations meeting both these conditions: a) having a current established interest in the contact, and b) update-accessible in the current caseload); display description; mandatory.

Non-enterable fields:

  1. From: displays the current owner location.

  2. Officer: displays the name associated with the user ID currently logged on.

Notes:

  1. There is no restriction on From Location in transferring ownership - a plan can be transferred to another location regardless of whether the current caseload had update access to the From Location.

  2. The From and To Locations may be the same.

  3. This action cannot be performed by the Officer who presently has possession of the plan. The Officer default must be someone other than the user ID currently in possession (you can't transfer a plan to yourself if you already have it).
